According to Hip Hop DX, a recent interview conducted with Lil Wayne revealed that the Young Money chief may be retiring after he drops his soon to be released album Tha Carter IV. Weezy says he wants to dedicate his time to his kids and the music industry doesn't allow him to do that.
In my opinion this is most likely a marketing ploy to create more hype around his upcoming album but either way Tha Carter IV will go multiple times platinum. And in case anyone forgot, Jay-Z also retired..so did Eminem....just sayin. Read article
