TDU: Must See Movies

Genre: Crime

This first MSM installment is inspired by hands down one of my favorite movies of all time: City of God is based on the slums of Rio de Jeneiro depicting the intense violence and criminal underworld that runs the streets. Most people find subtitles annoying as the movie is spoken in Portuguese, but the movie's cinematography and story line is more than enough to become captivate and read every last word intently. The trailer for City of God is below;

The second movie at the plate is a classic that by now, EVERYONE should have seen: Boys n The Hood. This movie bring to light the harsh and violent realities surrounding South Central L.A, illustrating how society fails to aid those most in need as well presenting the audience with many of the obstacles families and young kids are faced with growing up in a hostile living environment. Compton and South Central native Ice Cube from N.W.A and Cuba Gooding Jr. starr;

Another classic that never gets old is none other than Pulp Fiction. John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson play the coolest killers you will ever see on screen with the some of the most memorable lines and directed by the genius of Quentin Tarantino. Anyone who says this movie is garbage is not friend worthy and should seek therapy, enough said;
